APEX True DBInput is a suite of data-entry controls for Windows that streamlines building professional forms in classic Visual Basic and other COM-based development environments. It offers masked and formatted input for dates, times, numbers, and currencies; drop-down and spin editors; automatic parsing and validation; and data binding to common data sources such as ADO and DAO. The controls provide consistent formatting, locale-aware behavior, and built-in error feedback, reducing the amount of custom code needed to enforce business rules and improve data quality. Developers can configure behavior at design time through property pages and wizards, and extend functionality at runtime via a rich event model. True DBInput also integrates smoothly with related True DB components (including grid and list controls) to help create cohesive, data-aware user interfaces for line-of-business applications, especially in legacy VB6 environments.
